The Dept. of Prime Minister and Cabinet in Canberra have asked for 3 Bruneian students from here to take part in the APEC Vol. program this year. Here's a schedule of the volunteer's activities:
Face-to-face interview, uniform fitting and accreditation paperwork at the APEC Taskforce Sydney office | 1 hour |
Orientation/induction session at a Sydney city-based hotel on either Friday 13 July or Saturday 28 July | 4 hours |
Venue and job specific training conducted by the APEC Taskforce Functional Area the volunteer has been assigned to | 4 hours approximately |
APEC Leaders Week: volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of three shift (of six hours duration per shift for international students) and will be rostered between Tuesday 28 August and Sunday 9 September. | 18 hours minimum |
