Eid ul-Adha 1431H/2010M (UPDATED)

Assalamualaikum everyone,

This is an *update* regarding the Eid Ul-Adha Prayer for UNSW area and the surrounding.

Islamic Society (ISOC) of UNSW invites you to the Eid Al-Adha prayer at UNSW. The details are as follows:

When: Tuesday, 16th November 2010

Where: Leighton Hall, Scientia Building, UNSW

Programme:

7:15am - Takbir
7:45am - Solat Aidilfitri berjemaah
8:00am - Khutbah
8:15am - Social and mingling session

The prayer is open to all Brothers, Sisters, and their families and friends. So please join us. Hope to see you guys there.

Australian National Crescent Sighting Coordination Centre (ANCSCC) is pleased to inform you that the crescent was sighted, Alhamdulillah, tonight in Brisbane and Sydney. Therefore tomorrow, Monday 8th November will be 1st of Dhul Hijja,

‘Eid ul-Adha will fall on Wednesday 17th November, 2010. ‘Eid Mubarak!

Yup according to ISOC, UNSW, the Eid prayer is on the 16th ..

# I wonder why different sources have different date to celebrate the Eid :)
