Hi guys,

As some of you may have heard, HM has agreed to have a short meet-and-greet session with us during his APEC trip here in Sydney. It has been confirmed that it'll be held on the afternoon of (read the title of the blog).

I'll update you all of the arrangements for that day once everything has been finalized..BTW, this j.ziarah is for ALL BRUNEIANS IN SYDNEY. Inda kira student kah inservice kah baru graduate kah..asalkan namanya rakyat brunei and ur residing in syd, bah ur invited. =D

SPE Website

Hiye and greetings everyone.

Just to inform you that, after a few months of wrestling with the stupid software SPE gave me to make the website, unsw spe website is finally up and running.

My heartfelt thanks to Waznah for helping me untangle the HTML mumbo jumbo.

The site is a bit empty at the moment, but events have been lined up by SPE for the rest of semester, so it shoud be a good sized website soon!

In other news, SPE elections are coming up. Give a good discussion with one another about whos the next Bruneian you would want to nominate for the elections, volunteers most welcome. The influx of international students means that SPE will need a representative to be in a committee. So It's either you Shell guys, petronas or Aramco. Step up to the call!

For anyone who is interested to contribute to the research into one of the leading causes of preventable blindness in Brunei and worldwide and willing to help me please feel free contact me. I cannot elaborate more on this here but suffice to say, it is a safe procedure and well a good way to get to know other Bruneians :) living in Sydney. Did not realise there are a few of us here.
