Alhamdulillah, it's the time of the year again where all the Muslims in the world will be fasting in this holy month of Ramadhan.

Most Muslims in Sydney will be fasting tomorrow, Monday 1st of September 2008, following the calculation.

Selamat Menunaikan Ibadah Puasa and semoga amalan kita di terima olehNya. Insya Allah.

Update: Harbour Bridge Climb

It's Monday, 25th August 2008 and I have decided to extend the payment date until the Thursday, 28th August 2008. So please do pay to again either Fadhli, Asqa or Aimi. The price is again $199 per person and the climb is again on the Saturday, 30th August 2008. Anyone is invited.

It is confirmed that no matter what happen, Lee Hen Sem is buying the ticket on Friday, 29th August 2008 and climbing on again on Saturday, 30th August 2008. Harbour Bridge Climb with Lee Hen Sem

Activity: Harbour Bridge climb

Why:

1. You always see the bridge but you have never climbed it
2. Something to show off
3. I have been in Sydney for nearly 3 years and I have never climbed it!! Wth!!
4. Something to remember before you graduate (you fourth years!!!)
   

When: Saturday, 30^th August (During the day and will confirm the time ASAP)

Price: $199 per person (Please pay to either Fadhli, Asqa or Aimi)

Please pay before the 25^th August 2008. I will reconsider the date if we have not received our allowances by that day. I will update this post on 25^th August 2008 if there are any changes or confirmation.

Step Up: UNSW-SPE elections open

Ladies and Gents,

*I think this is, like, my first post ever as vice-president SPE... where have I been?*

I hope you have all received the email about nominations for the 2008/2009 UNSW-SPE student body. We are looking for hard-working, motivated, creative and enthusiastic team players to make BBQs, lunches, field trips and dinners a reality. So anyone who would like to nominate themselves or your other fellow students, e-mail me(z3183620@student.unsw.edu.au) your name, student ID and year. Nominations close next Friday, 22nd August 2008.

Airul's statistics last year show that Bruneians hold 35% voting power so we need a voice. Step up to the plate and I promise you, it's an experience you will not regret - "Belum try, belum tahu..."
